Marching Band Cake

This is a cake I made for my old Marching Band to congratulate them for getting 1st in the parade and field show at the Kahoka Band Festival and for also getting a 1 rating at State.

In case you couldn't tell, the bottom tier is a drum, the second tier is sorta supposed to look like a marching band uniform and the top is the uniform hat.

I was going to make a feather plume out of gumpaste, but it literally took me an hour and a half to dye the fondant maroon, so I wasn't even going to try messing with dying the gumpaste.
